ESP - Este proyecto intimista explora la vida cotidiana de Finoula y su relación con su doctorado en Bruselas, marcada por altibajos emocionales. En nuestra pequeña casa, que es a la vez refugio y prisión, los días buenos traen rituales que le aportan fuerza y optimismo, mientras que los días difíciles, dominados por la ansiedad, hacen que la rutina sea un desafío. Este espacio íntimo se convierte en el punto de partida de una narrativa que va de adentro hacia fuera, reflejando cómo las emociones moldean su conexión con el mundo exterior. Como testigo de estas dinámicas, navego entre la inspiración que me da su resiliencia y la impotencia de no poder aliviar sus silencios. A través de estas imágenes, exploro la complejidad de acompañarla en este viaje emocional.
ENG - This intimate project explores the daily life of Finoula and her relationship with her PhD in Brussels, marked by emotional ups and downs. In our small home, which serves as both a refuge and a prison, good days bring rituals that give her strength and optimism, while difficult days, dominated by anxiety, make even routine a challenge. This intimate space becomes the starting point of a narrative that moves from the inside out, reflecting how emotions shape her connection with the outside world. As a witness to these dynamics, I navigate between the inspiration her resilience gives me and the helplessness of not being able to ease her silences. Through these images, I explore the complexity of accompanying her on this emotional journey.
